Week 25 - American Samoa - Transfers to 'Amanave!

Transfers have come and gone and I am gone! I left my first area after serving there for 6 months. It was a kind of a bittersweet moment when we got the transfer call because I didn't realize how close I got to these people until I realized I would be leaving. Luckily I had enough time to say goodbye to some of the members that I got close with. Elder Masuisui is still in Malaeimi with Elder Williams who went to the MTC with us as well. So my new area is called Amanave. it is still on Tutuila but SWEET MOSES it is the most insanely beautiful area I am already in love. It is on the far west side of the island and it is like one road that drive right along the coast. it is truly amazing. its different from malaeimi because there isn't as much traffic and its a lot quieter and more peaceful. Our area is pretty huge tho so we often get ride from people who are driving trucks and we just hop in the back and take a nice drive down the coast lookin at the beautiful scenery. Perks of being here in Samoa man its truly amazing.

But more importantly, I am psyched to get down to work here! my new companion is Elder Robertson from herriman. If any of my USA soccer buddies read this he knows like all of you. Anyway he is super awesome and we are both ready to just get lost in the work man. The Amanave ward hasn't had a baptism in over a year!! that is about to change man me and Elder Robertson are up for the task. But guess what's cool,, this is like one of the only wards in the mission who doesn't have a baptismal font so when we find those people who are ready to follow our savior jesus christ, they will be baptized in the ocean! Just a bonus I guess but either way I am sooo happy right now and just ready to get to work. Another perk of being here is that we stay in a house with 2 other missionaries elder zembal and elder suapaia. It's a party.

Just want to shout-out to the best missionary in the world sister love! my sister is going home this week from Taiwan! I love you and get home safe!

I love this work.

I love all you and hope you have the best week.
