Elder Love's Samoan Adventures

Malo le Soifua! It pleased me greatly to hear that all of you had the best Christmas of all time... cuz I know that this was the best Christmas I have ever had in my entire life out here in Samoa. We didn't do much besides visit members but it was a glorious day nonetheless. We even had a big mac and fries for dinner which was icing on the cake. This email is gonna be short cuz it's been pretty slow due to the Christmas season but check back next week we will have like 13 baptism dates no doubt. Me and Elder Masuisui are ready to pick it up after the holidays. This has been such a good past few months and I have learned so much and I have never been so happy but I know I could be doing a lot more than I am doing now. good thing its the new year.. I can really recommit myself to this work. This is THE work. I am so blessed to be devoted to it for 2 years. GUYS if you haven't been reading the Book of Mormon I would invite you to do so. Malo le soifua! Dang Rip Elder Visesio and Elder Lavaka. My first two companions are both on planes right now going to New Zealand and Tonga..that's weird that both my dads are already dead. My new companion is sooo dope though. As I said before Elder Masuisui was in my intake and we sat right next to each other in the MTC, now we are back together here in Tutuila its pretty sick. We are both so ready to get this area back up man we spent like all last Sunday like making goals and just getting ready for this transfer. We know we are gonna see some miracles happen here as we keep being obedient and doing our part of this work. We are trying to speak to each other in Samoan as much as possible so we can boost our language abilities this transfer. We also even made a workout program cuz there are some weights in the house that we stay at so we plan on both being yoked as in about a month haha. we both split a carton of eggs every morning and we eat a ton of canned tuna haha gainzzz br

Malo Soifua! Transfer 2 down (each transfer is 6 weeks long) and I am still kicking it here in my birth place malaeimi. I love the members here they are dope! It's awesome to see my relationships getting closer with them as I am learning more and more to speak their language and understand them. SOO brooo Elder Visesio is bouta finish his mission next week and we got the transfer call but we were told that we were both gonna stay in Malaeimi but we were getting third missionary to be in our trio.. that lucky missionary is none other than Elder Masuisui! he was in my intake and we know each other super well so I am so hyped!! can't wait to get back at it in this area and find some people who are ready to hear the gospel! So its been raining a ton hear so one day we had to walk like 50 yards in rain waiter up past our knees it was sick! peep the pics. Malo! The work is really moving here in Malaeimi now! we have 4 baptismal dates and we have been finding more people to teach. We found this one guy and he asked why angel Moroni is on the temple and not Jesus Christ. So i said I have no idea and after my companion straight faasoa'd me and told me never to say I don't know. I was like broooo why not? Like I am trying to be upfront and honest with people and honestly I didn't know the answer to that question. It took some humility to take the advice and he helped me understand that people here take, "i don't know" like way hard and like evidence that we aren't telling the truth. so he helped me understand what to say when I don't know an answer to question that is still being honest.. by telling people you don't know everthing and that you will do all that you can to find the answer but then testify of what you do know. that was just a small little thing in the work but It's just a good reminder
