Week 3 - MTC

TALOFA!

Guys I don't have a ton of time today but I will rattle off a few little things from this week:

-Elder Esplin calls me his dad for some reason and he calls My companion his son so I guess Fa'amausili is my grandson. Also, "sole" is the samoan word for dude and we have all started calling fa'amausili "sole" as a nickname and when esplin says it I die laughing. He pronounces it "ttttsssssoollee". I realize that sounds so stupid but it is hilarious.

-Every time Elder Hansen from the Tongan district sees me he calls me "officer" or "Sargent" because apparently I look like a cop. So ya that's interesting haha.

-Elder Wallentine from my district threw 152 goldfish into his own mouth consecutively without missing a single one. He is pretty much a living legend around here.

-My comp and I have to give a 20 minute lesson to an "investigator" tonight at 6:15. If it comes to it I'll probably say a 10 minute opening prayer and a 10 minute closing prayer. jk but it's gonna be tough.

-The sport of choice has now turned to volleyball during exercise time! If America doesn't vote me their favorite singer then I might have to go pursue an olympic volleyball career. jk I suck so bad its weird.

-I am getting better at Samoan! We did an activity where we went out into the courtyard and went up to people and one person in the companionship ask to share a message in samoan and the other translated. I was able to ask people if I could share a message and I was able to share a couple truths and then bare my testimony. It is coming along!

- My samoan teacher heard me talk with my comp while we were memorizing phrases and he said my samoan was "Bomb" and that my pronunciation was "Perfect" so thats pretty sick!!

-I am reading the book of mormon and it is true. Please read it if you aren't. and if you are starting over read the introduction and the witness testimonies.

It is going good! The MTC is great I am learning alot.

I love you all!
